Data You Give Us Directly
Search Queries
A name or location entered in a search tool is sent directly to the outside provider operating that tool. The provider processes the request and supplies its results. Broomfield County Criminal History does not retain or log those query terms on its own systems.
Messages and Contact Submissions
An email may be kept as long as needed to respond and maintain the related correspondence. It remains within the operating team unless disclosure is required by law.
Data We Gather Automatically

No Criminal-Record Data on File
Broomfield County Criminal History does not maintain, assemble, or sell a database of personal criminal records. It provides general directions to Broomfield Police Records, Broomfield Combined Courts, the Colorado Bureau of Investigation, and the Colorado Convicted Sex Offender Search. It is not a consumer reporting agency under the Fair Credit Reporting Act, and visitor information is not compiled into consumer reports or third-party dossiers.
Third-Party Search Partners
Outside companies operate the search boxes. Information submitted there is governed by the provider's privacy policy rather than this policy. Each provider controls its retention and disclosure rules, so review those terms before running a query.
Links to Other Websites
Throughout the site we link to Broomfield Police pages, court portals, state agency sites, legal aid groups, and third-party search tools. Clicking any of those links takes you off our site. At that point, their privacy policy governs your visit. Read it before sharing any personal details.
Certain advertising partners may track your activity across sites to show targeted ads. That tracking runs on their systems, not ours.
